A Heart Full of Understanding, Expression and Patient Endurance

Summary

God’s love was revealed through Him giving Jesus, and His love will also be revealed when Jesus returns. As we await His coming, we must resist the standards of the world, remain grounded in Scripture, and understand God’s Word. Though we face the struggle between flesh and spirit, let’s patiently endure, remain faithful, and be ready for Christ’s return. Let us grow in holiness, walk according to God’s Word knowing that our hope is in Jesus and His return.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving Jesus to save us from our sins. Help us to anticipate the second coming of Jesus with patient endurance. Help us to pursue holiness and live according to the leading of the Holy Spirit; not our sinful flesh. Our hope is in You Lord. In Jesus’ name.
